"Over all the product is perfect. This is real wood not press board. My only complaint is there is a scratch on it but I'm not sure if it was from havertys people or me. I used a touch up pen and now you can't tell it was scratched. I love the quality of havertys furniture. I will be buying more in the future"

"We bought this loft for my 11 year old and we love it! It is a solid, well-made piece of furniture. As mom, I don't even worry about climbing that ladder myself! We like that one side of the loft is very open. The desk drawers are roomy. And overall, it looks beautiful in the room."

"My concern is that one of the guardrails broke within the first month. Haverty's replaced the rails and we're hoping that the bed has a long life. That's the only reason I gave this item 3 stars for quality and durability."

"We looked everywhere for a bunk bed system that included a desk and/or bookshelf and/or dresser drawers. For the price, this is a nice system with a desk. The dark finish is attractive and doesn't fight with other wood pieces in our daughter's room. The desk drawers pull in and out easily. The quality is good, although, it creaks a great deal when she climbs up and down. I think it will hold up well. I do wish the bar along the upper mattress was higher. We put a medium quality mattress on the upper bunk and it's almost too thick to make the bar high enough to still protect her from rolling out."

"My little boy absolutely loves this bed, and so do I! It is the perfect combination for a grade-school age child. The bed is large enough to accomodate a growing boy and friends. He can do homework, and the whole thing does not take up the entire room!"

"This bed is well made, but hard to make. It takes up most of my son's room. He loves it, but I hate to make it - the top bunk is nearly impossible to make because I simply cannot reach it. The bottom bed it hard to get to as well - He loves the cave feel and it is a beautiful piece of furniture, but I would not buy it again if I was choosing."

Beautiful, but BUY THE BUNKIE BOARDS!!

"The product is beautiful and versatile at a good price. Our two boys, 4 and 7, just love the furniture. However, YOU HAVE TO BUY THE BUNKIE BOARDS! The first night the boys slept on the bottom bunk and the mattress dipped in the center feeling as thought you were on a sleeper sofa. A male family member slept on the full bed, alone, and the center slat broke. We had a second delivery for the bunkie boards and it has made all the difference in the world! I am still a bit leary, though. Wish the salesperson had told us about the need for the boards in the first place. All in all, I would recommend this piece of furniture."

"The bed was difficult to put together. It took a lot of time. One of the side rails on the bottom bed split. Since there was a pre-drilled hole for the bolt to go through, this never should have happened. It's overall look is very nice and it is serving it's purpose. We don't think it is going to stand the test of time, though. If you are looking for something for a few years use, it is okay. If you are looking for an heirloom to pass down, forget it."
